Focus: Develop AI strategies for children’s rights. 

What are the Key Responsibilities?

You will lead AI initiatives and build partnerships to support children’s wellbeing. Your main tasks will include:

  • AI Strategy Development: Create practical AI plans that address children’s needs in education, health, and protection
  • Partnership Building: Connect with tech companies, universities, and governments to form AI collaborations
  • Project Management: Guide AI projects from idea to completion, ensuring they deliver real impact
  • Research & Analysis: Study how AI can solve challenges facing children in Gulf communities
  • Capacity Building: Help UNICEF staff and partners understand and use AI tools effectively

What Skills and Experience Do You Need?

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in AI project management or technology partnerships
  • Experience working with AI technologies and understanding their practical applications
  • Strong background in building relationships with technology partners
  • Excellent communication skills for working with diverse teams

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work in international development or humanitarian sectors
  • Knowledge of children’s rights and protection frameworks
  • Experience in the Gulf region’s cultural context
