What are the Key Responsibilities?
You will lead AI initiatives and build partnerships to support children’s wellbeing. Your main tasks will include:
- AI Strategy Development: Create practical AI plans that address children’s needs in education, health, and protection
- Partnership Building: Connect with tech companies, universities, and governments to form AI collaborations
- Project Management: Guide AI projects from idea to completion, ensuring they deliver real impact
- Research & Analysis: Study how AI can solve challenges facing children in Gulf communities
- Capacity Building: Help UNICEF staff and partners understand and use AI tools effectively
What Skills and Experience Do You Need?
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in AI project management or technology partnerships
- Experience working with AI technologies and understanding their practical applications
- Strong background in building relationships with technology partners
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse teams
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in international development or humanitarian sectors
- Knowledge of children’s rights and protection frameworks
- Experience in the Gulf region’s cultural context
