Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend services using NestJS and Temporal. This is a remote position ideal for developers who enjoy working on complex systems and event-driven architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect backend services that are scalable and reliable.
- Implement complex workflows and orchestration using Temporal.
- Build distributed and event-driven systems for e-commerce platforms.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and system scalability.
- Lead API design, architecture, and third-party integrations.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with NestJS framework.
- Proven experience in backend architecture and API integrations.
- Experience implementing Temporal workflows.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
Education Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience Required:
- 7+ years of backend development experience.
