About the Role

Texas Lab Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist – Google Platforms & Technical SEO to lead technical optimizations, platform management, and organic growth strategies. In this remote role, you will conduct in-depth technical audits, implement advanced schema markups, manage Google ecosystem integrations, and execute cutting-edge Answer Engine (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Audits & Optimization: Execute comprehensive technical SEO audits to detect and resolve site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and rendering issues.
• Google Platform Management: Oversee and optimize Google Search Console, Google Merchant Center (product feeds/inventory data), Google Business Profile, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
• Schema & Structured Data: Implement JSON-LD schema markup and rich structured data to maximize SERP feature eligibility and visibility across AI answer engines.
• Performance & Core Web Vitals: Analyze website speed and performance metrics to troubleshoot bottlenecks and improve user experience.
• AEO & GEO Strategy: Implement Answer Engine and Generative Engine Optimization frameworks to capture visibility in AI-driven search results and LLM outputs.
• Technical Maintenance: Maintain and configure XML sitemaps, robots.txt, URL canonicalization, and site pagination.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, content strategists, and marketing teams to implement technical recommendations and e-commerce SEO initiatives.
• Reporting & Analytics: Monitor GA4 data to uncover traffic trends, user journey insights, and conversion metrics; build actionable stakeholder reports.

• SEO Audit & Analysis: Screaming Frog SEO Spider, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Sitebulb.
• Tracking & Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM).
• E-commerce & Feeds: Google Merchant Center product feed optimization, structured data for products/offers.
• Technical Frameworks: Schema.org (JSON-LD), Core Web Vitals, robots directives, XML sitemaps, AEO/GEO integration.
• Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot drop-offs in organic visibility, algorithmic penalties, and complex indexation issues.
