Job Overview: We are looking for a detail oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This is an on site role where you will test software applications and ensure high quality releases. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual and automation testing, along with a strong understanding of software testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases
- Perform manual testing of applications
- Perform automation testing using tools like Selenium or Cypress
- Conduct API testing using Postman
- Identify, document, and report bugs
- Track issues using bug tracking tools such as JIRA
- Work closely with developers to ensure quality releases
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in software testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
- Experience in API testing using Postman
- Bug tracking experience using JIRA or similar tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
