MATA365 is hiring a Junior Security Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Islamabad. This role is suitable for early-career cybersecurity professionals who want to gain real-world experience with enterprise-grade Microsoft security technologies and build their career in security engineering.

The selected candidate will work with Microsoft 365 security tools, support security operations, protect enterprise environments, troubleshoot security issues, and help improve the overall security posture. The role also provides an opportunity to grow toward mid-level and senior security engineering positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Microsoft 365 security tools including Entra ID, Defender, and Intune.
• Support security operations and help protect enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze security issues.
• Continuously improve the security posture of enterprise environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Microsoft 365 administration or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Defender, and Intune.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Microsoft security certifications such as SC-300, MS-102, SC-200, or AZ-500 are a plus.
• Experience in an MSP or multi-tenant environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework is a plus.
