Job Overview

The Information Security Manager will be responsible for protecting the organization’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats. The selected candidate will develop security standards, perform vulnerability assessments, improve infrastructure security, and lead cybersecurity projects.

This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to manage security initiatives across different systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure security baselines using CIS Benchmarks.
• Validate compliance through CIS security scanning.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments across operating systems and networks.
• Analyze security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Design and review firewall, DNS, email, and network security policies.
• Define security controls for Active Directory and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Design and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Build secure remote access solutions using VPN and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Lead infrastructure risk assessments.
• Monitor Network Detection and Response (NDR) activities.
• Prepare professional reports and documentation using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Work with security teams to improve the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Education Requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Information Security
• Cyber Security
• Computer Science
• Engineering

Preferred Certifications

The following certifications will be considered an advantage:

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Microsoft Security Certifications

Experience Required

Applicants should have:

• 4 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity infrastructure and threat engineering.
• Hands-on experience with security assessment tools.
• Experience in enterprise security environments.

Required Skills

Candidates should have:

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity infrastructure.
